Our Electrical Immersion Heaters are industrial grade,
temperature-controlled electrically operated units designed specifically to heat
our SAE Type I deicing fluid prior to deicing operations. The standard
units are available in both 120- & 240-volt configurations. They feature a
Brass 1" MNPT threaded screw plug, a heavy-wall seamless copper sheath
heating element and thermostat bulb, a weather resistant cover, a 6'
all-temperature (-40° to +194°
F) indoor-outdoor cord, and a factory-set
(160° F) automatic thermostat. All the 120 volt units (excepting the 2500
watt) can be plugged into a
standard 3-prong grounded outlet; the 120 volt / 2500 watt and the 240 volt units
require a special
plug.
Our Immersion Heaters can be factory mounted into any 'Ice-Off' brand
deicing cart, from 5- to 300-gallon capacity. Additionally, the specially
designed IH-HS1, 2, & 3 series units are designed specifically to be mounted in our Handheld
Deicing Sprayers, allowing the deicing fluid to be heated within the sprayer's
tank. Our standard units are available
